Join a community of practice at the Teaching and Learning Centre
The Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) facilitates communities of practice, in which members of the Ontario Tech community come together to address shared instruction-related concerns, problems or interests, and collaborate on individual and group goals.
What topics are covered?
TLC communities of practice currently focus on two areas:
- Generating ideas, seeking feedback, and sharing resources and stories related to Indigenizing and decolonizing content, instructional approaches, and interactions.
- Exploring guidelines for implementing UDL principles, inclusive instructional design, instructional multimedia design, and accessible instruction to reduce barriers in any learning environment.
Who can participate?
- Ontario Tech instructors, teaching assistants, and staff are welcome.
How often do the communities meet?
